URL Field (Legacy Version)

Overview

The URL field accepts a plain text URL. The URL field is most useful when referencing pages on other websites, together with a customization like a button or an image link. 

Data will be stored as simple text with the URL that was entered on the content entry form.

To create a link that includes both a URL and text for the link label, consider using a Link field instead.   

For internal links, consider using a Reference Field instead, such as a Product Reference, Page Reference, etc.

Content Entry Form

The form will be validated and will only accept a "fully qualified domain" including the protocol (HTTP, HTTPS, etc).

Repeatable

This field may be set to repeatable during field creation to collect more than one URL at a time.
